The Dover race was rained out yesterday, but that didn't stop Martin Truex Jr. from dominating the field on Monday and getting his first Nextel Cup win.
He's not my favorite, but always fun to see someone get there first win. And it was at his home track as well.
One can only wonder if Truex will step up and become the number one driver at DEI now that Dale Earnhardt Jr. has announce he will not return to drive for DEI next year.
His win was overshadowed by the passing of NASCAR Vice President, Bill France Jr. Bill died peacefully today after a long battle with illness.
